  node 2.0 products

The Exchange Network governance is currently in the process of compiling information on available Node 2.0 implementations. In the very near future, this page will contain details on product functionality and availability and provide links and contacts for more information. Any Exchange Network partners or vendors that have developed a Node 2.0 product and would like to list it on this page should contact Kurt Rakouskas at kurtr@sso.org.

When making the transition to Node 2.0, Exchange Network partners can choose to independently develop a new Node from scratch, upgrade an existing Node, or implement a Node solution developed by one of several vendors. Any of these options is perfectly acceptable and it is up to each individual partner to decide which path best fits their organization's needs. A pre-developed solution will allow partners to take advantage of others' development work and lessons learned, so they are often more cost-effective than building a Node from scratch. However, partners should also be aware that even these solutions typically require some customization to work within an individual organization's technology environment and infrastructure. Funding to support this work has been and continues to be made available through the U.S. EPA's Exchange Network Grant Program.
