Version 2.0 of the Exchange Network Node represents the next generation of technologies and services that will power the Exchange Network. The goals of Node 2.0 are to update the Exchange Network Node software to be compatible with new Web Service technologies, to fix identified problems with Node 1.1, and to provide new features and functionality.
Links to final versions of the Node 2.0 Functional Specification, Exchange Protocol, and Web Service Description Language File (WSDL) are available in the table below along with some additional guidance materials.
The implementation of Node 2.0 is just beginning and the Exchange Network will continue to support Node 1.1 while partners make the transition. Browse through the links to the right to find some additional information that will help you plan your upgrade to Node 2.0. You can find more details on Node products that have already been developed, plans for migrating existing data exchanges to Node 2.0, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), and more.
