Like Nodes, Network Clients can submit, request, and receive results from a request on the Network. However, Network Clients cannot respond to data queries from other Nodes, and therefore cannot publish data on the Exchange Network. Network Clients may be a more cost effective solution for partners who do not have a compelling business need to publish their data on the Exchange Network.
Windsor Solutions, has developed a client application capable of interacting with Exchange Network Nodes through a simple user interface. The Node Client provides the following benefits:
- Provides an understandable, easy to use interface for interacting with Nodes on the Exchange Network;
- Assists in testing the development and implementation of an Exchange Network Node; and
- Offers a semi-automated alternative to a fully functioning Exchange Network Node that allows users to submit XML documents to or download XML documents from a partner Node.

- Sample client for .NET
This is a sample client that uses the included requestor library (CDX_DOTNET_REQUESTOR.DLL). This library is all that is needed to communicate with a Node from any .NET language (e.g., VB, C#, J#). Only requires the .NET Framework 1.X and WSE 1sp1. Please note that the code is compiled so once you install you cannot make a lot of modifications.

- C# Client Library
This allows you to change the above requestor library. If you don't want to change the API, you should download the .NET Sample Client. Requires the .NET Framework 1.X and 1sp1.
