The U.S. EPA has been supporting the implementation of the Exchange Network through its Environmental Information Exchange Network Grant Program. In the FY2008 round of the grant program, EPA made funding available to support the development or implementation of Nodes that comply with the Node 2.0 specification.

EPA plans to release the FY2009 Grant Solicitation in September 2008. This will be the final year in which funding will be made available specifically for implementing Node 2.0. As such, all Network partners that have not yet secured funding are encouarged to visit the Grants section for more information and consider applying for assistance.
