  california environmental data exchange system

Status: In Development

data exchange description

The California Environmental Protection Agency's Department of Water Resources (DWR) and the Surface Water Ambient Monitoring Program (SWAMP) of the State Water Resources Control Board are expanding the existing environmental data management system within DWR's collaborative Bay Delta and Tributaries Project. The objective is to expand this system to make California's environmental data compatible and accessible for analysis and reporting. The expanded system will be known as the California Environmental Data Exchange System (CEDES). CEDES users will exchange information using Exchange Network protocols and infrastructure. This project is being funded by a Challenge Grant from the U.S. EPA's Exchange Network Grant Program.
