The following listings support exchanges of air-related data between network partners. More information and links to implementation resources for each data exchange appear below.

Consolidated Emissions Reporting Schema (CERS)
CERS was developed as a common air
emissions reporting schema that can be used for sharing and reporting air pollution emissions
data. In particular, the schema is designed to support the reporting of criteria air
pollutants and air toxic emissions, as well as greenhouse gases.
Emissions Inventory System (EIS)
The Emissions Inventory System (EIS) is the new information system for storing all current and historical emissions inventory data. It will be used to receive and store emissions data and generate emission inventories beginning with the 2008 NEI. The EIS will use the Consolidated Emission Reporting Schema (CERS) for reporting of data from the state, local and tribal agencies.

Air Quality System (AQS) This data exchange allows users to submit data to the U.S. EPA's Air Quality System (AQS). AQS is a national database that contains ambient air quality monitoring data collected by State, Tribal and local governments.

Air Quality Data Exchange
The states of New Jersey, New York, and Delaware are collaborating to develop a regional air quality monitoring network. This exchange reuses the XML schema developed for the Air Quality System (AQS) data exchange.
Status: In Development
Northwest Air Quality Data Exchange
The Washington Department of Ecology is leading the development of this data exchange, which is focused on enhancing the collection, storage, reporting, and exchange of ambient air quality data in the Pacific Northwest. This exchange reuses the XML schema developed for the Air Quality System (AQS) data exchange.
Status: In Development
EPA Moderated Transaction System
Participants in the Renewable Fuels Standards Program, including renewable fuel producers, refiners, and others, will use the EPA Moderated Transaction System (EMTS) to submit transactions in support of the Renewable Fuels Standards Program.
Status: In Development
Air Emissions Inventory (AEI) Pilot Exchange
This data exchange is being developed as part of a pilot project among the U.S. Air Force, states, and the U.S. EPA. It will attempt to demonstrate the feasibility of streamlining the exchange of air emissions data from facilities to state and local agencies using the Consolidated Emission Reporting Schema (CERS).

Oregon Air Quality Data Exchange
This data exchange allows the Oregon Department of Human Services to access and analyze air quality data collected by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.
