Welcome to the home of the 2010 Exchange Network National Meeting! This year we will be gathering in Chicago, IL to share ideas on how the Exchange Network can continue to provide better access to better information for better environmental management. The national meeting is one of the best opportunities to interact with and learn from other members of the Exchange Network community.
With the basic infrastructure of the Exchange Network now in place, we'll be focusing on creating opportunities to maximize use of the Network through data publishing and building out data exchanges that support national data access needs. Together we'll grow and enhance the Exchange Network and Exchange Network user community by:
Discussing opportunities for using the Exchange Network in innovative ways or in new business areas;
Sharing and learning about successful applications of the Exchange Network;
Discovering tools and resources available to the Exchange Network User community to assist in the rapid adoption of the Exchange Network; and
Meeting Exchange Network practitioners working to solve similar problems in similar environments.
The Exchange Network governance is now working on the meeting agenda and a draft will be available in the near future. In the meantime, we encourage you to share your ideas for presentations or discussion topics. Please send your input to Kurt Rakouskas at kurtr@sso.org.
For travel planning purposes, you can assume that we will begin at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 and end at 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 22, 2010.
Hope to see you in Chicago!
